A very useful kitchen tool. It can be used to tenderise tough meat with the spiked sides of its head or to flatten meats such as chicken and veal, with the flat sides. The head is of solid aluminium constriction so can withstand pretty hard wallops and the handle is wood so easy to hand wash as it should not be put into a dishwasher.
