This is a serving platter with a raised base and is ideal for the presentation of sandwiches, salads or appetizers etc. Made from polypropylene, it is heat resistant up to 65c so can be used under heat lamps at a safe distance plus it can be used in a microwave and washed in a dishwasher, on the low temperature shelf, again up to 65c. It can also be used with hot foods but avoid soups or anything with gravy because it has small drain holes in the base which allow for easy drying but would let the soup etc. run out onto the table, not a good idea!
