This is a multifunctional whipper that can be used with cream, of course but also for whipping sauces, creamy soups and hot and cold volutes. It has a stainless steel body and dispensing valve and a silicone band on the head to protect against heat when working with hot applications. There is a silicone gasket between head and body and the unit is easy to take apart for cleaning, which can be in a dishwasher.
