The Barista teapots come with an integral stainless steel strainer so that loose teas can be brewed without the fear of a mouthful of tealeaves in the bottom of the cup - yuck! The strainer will last for years but should it become damaged or, worse still, lost the choice is either to use the teapot without the strainer or replace it with one of these.
