A lightweight rectangular tray with a rubber non-slip inner surface that is also patterned to give it extra grip so plates, glasses etc will not slip and slide about. Should any liquids spill then the raised edges will prevent then leaving the tray until it is safe to pour them off. It is easy to wipe clean but anything that dries on can easily be removed by hand washing.
